ESC2010

We are pleased to announce that the European Seismological Commission
32nd General Assembly will take place in Montpellier, France,
September 6-10, 2010.
The EMSC will organize the ESC 32nd General Assembly on behalf of the European Seismological Commission, with the active support of the Observatoire de Recherche Méditerranéen de l'Environnement and the Laboratoire de Géosciences de Montpellier.

Our goal is to offer an attractive scientific programme and an enjoyable stay to all our participants. We also aim to improve the dialogue between the public and the scientific world on risk-related issues.
We will all gather in Montpellier, a beautifully preserved medieval city near the Mediterranean sea. Gastronomy and history are gathered together to offer you a splendid venue. Information on the registration, the Scientific Programme, the Training Course... will be available soon (website still under construction).

Call for session proposals
You can contribute to building the ESC scientific programme by proposing a session. Please have a look at our areas of interest in our Scientific Programme Page and see if your proposal could fit in. Please send a word document, in English, mentionning:
- the title of your session
- a half a page presentation
- the name and affiliation fo the convenors (minimum 2)
- a description of the thematic and of the type of abstracts expected
